Solutions

AI Clusters | Data Centers

The rapid evolution of AI clusters and data centers demands increasingly high-speed connectivity solutions. Enter Ligent’s 400G, 800G, and 1.6T pluggable transceivers, which are revolutionizing the landscape by providing scalable, high-bandwidth optical interconnects. These pluggables are essential for meeting the growing data transfer needs of Generative AI and their workloads, ensuring ultra-low latency, high reliability, and efficient power consumption.

Data Center Connectivity

400G and 800G ZR and ZR+ pluggable transceivers are transforming data center connectivity in the AI area by providing high-speed, low power and cost-effective solutions for data center interconnects (DCIs). These transceivers leverage coherent optical technology to deliver robust performance over extended distances and seamless interoperability between vendors, making them ideal for modern data centers that require efficient and reliable data transfer.

Storage Fiber Channel

Fiber Channel and HPC pluggable transceivers are essential for boosting storage and server performance in high-performance computing (HPC) environments. Fiber Channel ensures high-speed, reliable data transfer for storage networks, while HPC pluggables provide scalable connectivity for compute-intensive applications. Together, they enable seamless data transmission and robust performance, supporting large-scale simulations, data analysis, and AI workloads with ease.

Wireless Fronthaul

Wireless optical modules serve as critical optical interconnect components in 4G, 5G, and emerging 5G-A mobile communication networks, designed to meet the stringent reliability demands of outdoor fronthaul stations. These modules facilitate the interconnection of base station AAUs, DUs, and BBUs. Ligent offers a comprehensive portfolio of gray light, BiDi, and colored light solutions spanning 10G, 25G, and 50G speeds, with reach options of 300 meters, 2 km, 10 km, 20 km, and 30 km. Its BiDi, CWDM, and LWDM modules feature highly integrated fiber architectures, ensuring reliable performance, low power consumption, and compact form factors. Looking ahead, Hisense is actively developing next-generation 100G-per-lane fronthaul optical modules to support 6G applications—enabling seamless speed evolution and continuous upgrades for wireless base stations.

Metro Long Haul

800G, 400G, 200G, and 100G Long Reach transceivers—alongside BiDi transceivers—are reshaping transport networks for both metro and long-haul applications. Long Reach transceivers enable high-speed data transmission over vast distances, addressing the critical need for extended reach in modern networks. BiDi transceivers, powered by wavelength division multiplexing (WDM), allow bidirectional communication over a single fiber, dramatically improving resource efficiency and lowering infrastructure costs. Combined, these technologies boost network scalability, flexibility, and performance, making them ideal for today’s evolving metro and long-haul environments.

Fiber to the Home Access

50G PON, 10G PON, NG-PON2, and GPON OLT technologies are revolutionizing FTTx deployments across homes, buildings, factories, and other environments by delivering high-speed, scalable, and reliable connectivity through optical fiber. These Passive Optical Network (PON) solutions support efficient data transmission to end users, with 50G PON offering ultra-high bandwidth, low latency, and multi-generation coexistence, while 10G PON—encompassing Combo PON, XGS-PON, and 10G EPON—enables up to 10Gbps speeds. NG-PON2 adds advanced capabilities like wavelength mobility and channel bonding for enhanced performance. Collectively, these technologies empower seamless broadband access for residential and enterprise users, meeting ever-growing data demands with future-ready infrastructure.
